Everybody at least once in their lives thinks about who they will be in the future. Some people are successful because they have the motivation and determination to graduate college; others are less lucky because of their lack of those characteristics and opportunities. Those people often don't feel fulfilled in their lives because they get into a routine. Usually non-college graduates most of the days work all day long to just pay rent and bills. The three causes of people quitting college are regulating the balance between work and study, unexpected personal problems and financial problems.
The first cause of dropping out of college is regulating the balance between work and study. Students who are working while studying often break barriers of acceptable amount of working hours. For example, some students work full time or part time but they do physical work like lifting furniture or cleaning which makes them tired. Because of that, they have a hard time in classes and they drop out of college. Moreover, sometimes many students get out from work too late and they are late for classes. The student's thoughts lead them to sadness and depression. As a result, person doesn't care about school anymore and resolve to quit college. A reason that students quit college is unexpected personal problems.
The third cause of students resigning from college is financial problems. Some parents don't have enough money to pay for a school because of economical crisis. Because parents don't have enough money to cover educational expenses, their children are forced to quit college. Moreover, students who apply for financial aid and they don't receive it, might have many siblings and despite of their both parents work full time, their home budget doesn't let them continue education and they usually quit college. Financial problems is a cause that students drop out of college.
Students quit college because of many reasons and causes. Some of them are regulating the balance between work and study, unexpected personal problems and financial problems. Some situations such as financial problems are independent on students and they aggravate in continuing college education. These decisions have an impact on careers and students' future therefore, before quitting a college people should think whether they want to have high or minimum standard lives.

Dropping Out of School

Some people don’t feel the need to sit in class all day or even try and learn at all. School can be one of the most important times of our lives. Although some don’t think that way, some think it’s a waste of time. Students drop out of school maybe because of financial problems at home, feeling like they aren’t good enough, needing to raise their own families, or maybe a relative became sick and no one can take care of them other than the student.

“Every year, over 1.2 million students drop out of high school in the United States alone. That’s a student every 26 seconds – or 7,000 a day,” stated dosomething.org. Some students around our area had to drop out because their families needed help with income. Although many people who drop out of high school can only get lower paying because they do not have a college degree.

According to nces.ed.gov, if you have less than a high school diploma, you will earn on average around 22,860 a year. With a high school diploma or equivalent, you will earn around 29,950. Some college education can bump it up to 31,990. Even just an associate’s degree can boost that on up to around 37,030 a year. Therefore if you can hold out until you’re out of school, you would be much better off.

Some students feel like they are not smart enough to finish school, therefore they drop out. Some also start their own families at a young age so they stay home and take care of them. For some students that drop out, if they decide to go back it is a lot harder on them. They must get there GED before they can even go on to college.

In some cases, students leave school because family members are sick and they are the only ones to take care of them. Many people don’t realize how rough some families have it. Some families have to take it day by day.

Not all students have the dedication that others have; most students in my school are there because if not, their parents would be taken to jail.  Students feel like they are wasting their time in school. Many people also think that they will never get out of this town, therefore why put forth all my effort to something I am never going to use.
